Made Good Design: Content Writing & SEO Build

Content writing and SEO for Made Good Design — turning a design studio's expertise into pages that rank and read well.

Made Good Design logo and brand identity

Made Good Design is a design studio in its own right — so when they needed words and search visibility, they came to us for the content and SEO rather than the visuals.

Client: Made Good Design  ·  Industry: Design studio  ·  Year: 2026

Background

Made Good Design is a design studio with a clear visual point of view, expressed in a bold stacked wordmark. Like many studios, their strength sits firmly on the craft side — the work looks the part, but being found and explained in words is a different discipline, and one that creative teams often deprioritise while they are busy making.

Design is a crowded field where good work alone does not guarantee discovery. Prospective clients search, compare and read before they ever get in touch, which means a studio’s words and search presence quietly do a lot of the selling. A portfolio shows what a studio can do; the words around it explain why it matters and help the right people arrive in the first place.

That gap — between excellent work and being found — is exactly where we came in. The brief was not to redesign anything, but to give the studio language and visibility that did justice to a body of work that could already speak for itself visually.

Objectives

  • Give the studio clear, well-written content that explains the work
  • Improve organic visibility for relevant design searches
  • Turn an existing visual reputation into words that win enquiries
  • Build content that holds up over time rather than chasing trends
Made Good Design: Content Writing & SEO Build

Scope & deliverables

  • Content writing that articulates the studio’s work and value
  • SEO to improve organic discovery
  • Keyword-led structure so content earns search visibility, not just reads well

Our approach

We started from a simple premise: the design speaks for itself, so the writing’s job is to be clear, credible and easy to find. We focused on content that explains what the studio does and why it matters, written in a voice that suits a design audience rather than generic filler. For a studio with taste, tone matters — copy that feels off-brand undermines the very work it is meant to support.

SEO ran alongside the writing, not bolted on afterwards. We let keyword research shape what we wrote about and how pages were structured, so each piece had a reason to exist for both a reader and a search engine. Rather than chasing volume for its own sake, we prioritised terms that signalled genuine intent — the searches a prospective client actually makes when they are looking for a studio like this one.

The result is content that does double duty: useful to a human reading it, legible to the search engines that decide who finds it. It is built to keep working long after publication rather than spiking and fading. We also kept the studio’s existing visual identity untouched — the brief was to add words and visibility around strong design, not to interfere with work that was already doing its job.

Final words

Made Good Design now has words that match the quality of their work, and a search foundation that helps the right people find them. The content is built to keep earning its place rather than ageing out in a season, so the studio’s visibility compounds quietly over time instead of depending on a constant stream of new output.
