White Pages: A Logo & Brand Identity System

A bold monogram and a clean, structured brand identity for a directory and listings service built on clarity and order.

White Pages logo and brand identity

White Pages needed an identity as clear and structured as the directory it runs — so we designed one.

Client: White Pages  ·  Industry: Directory & listings  ·  Year: 2026

Background

White Pages is a directory and listings service — a place people turn to in order to find what they’re looking for. Its job is to organise information and make it easy to navigate, which puts clarity and structure at the heart of the brand.

Directories live and die on trust and legibility. Users need to feel that the service is reliable and well organised the moment they arrive, and a brand that looks orderly does a lot of that reassuring before a single listing is read. For a listings business, the identity isn’t decoration — it’s a signal of how dependable the whole product is.

Objectives

  • Design a logo that signals order, clarity and trust
  • Build a complete brand identity around a structured wordmark
  • Create a system that suits a directory’s clean, functional feel
  • Give the brand a confident, recognisable face
White Pages: A Logo & Brand Identity System

Scope & deliverables

  • Logo design — a bold monogram with a clean wordmark
  • A full brand identity system
  • A structured, legible type and layout approach
  • Brand assets ready to apply across the service

Our approach

We took our cue from the product itself. A directory is about structure, so we built the identity around a bold monogram paired with a clean, well-ordered wordmark — confident and easy to read, with nothing surplus. The aim was a mark that feels organised at a glance, mirroring the experience the service promises.

From there we developed a brand system that keeps that clarity consistent wherever it appears. Restrained typography and a structured layout do the heavy lifting, giving White Pages a dependable, legible face that suits a listings business and scales cleanly across uses.

  • A structured monogram-and-wordmark approach — see our guide to logo design
  • A consistent system built for clarity, drawing on brand identity fundamentals
  • Legible typography chosen for trust and order, informed by brand typography

Final words

White Pages came away with a logo and brand identity that look as clear and dependable as the directory they front.
