Branding

Tumbleweed Thrift: Logo & Online Shopfront

A characterful tumbleweed logo and a working e-commerce shopfront for a second-hand fashion brand with a vintage soul.

Tumbleweed Thrift logo and brand identity

Tumbleweed Thrift needed a logo with character and a place to sell online — so we built both.

Client: Tumbleweed Thrift  ·  Industry: Fashion thrift & second-hand retail  ·  Year: 2026

Background

Tumbleweed Thrift is a fashion thrift and second-hand retailer, dealing in pre-loved pieces with a vintage sensibility. It’s a category built on personality and the thrill of the find — no two items are quite the same, and the brand has to feel as characterful as the stock.

Thrift and resale have grown into a serious corner of fashion, driven by shoppers who care about value, sustainability and individuality. But the model is hard to run from a market stall alone; the real reach comes online, where a one-of-a-kind piece can find the one buyer who wants it. That meant Tumbleweed needed both a distinctive identity and a working shopfront to sell from.

Objectives

  • Create a logo with personality that fits a vintage, second-hand brand
  • Give the brand a recognisable identity across its presence
  • Build an online store so the shop can sell beyond a physical space
  • Make the shopfront easy to browse for one-off, ever-changing stock

Scope & deliverables

  • Logo design with a distinctive tumbleweed mark
  • Brand identity applied across the store
  • An e-commerce shopfront for selling online
  • A store setup suited to unique, single-item listings

Our approach

The logo led the brand’s character. We leaned into a tumbleweed motif with a vintage feel — playful and a little wandering, matching the spirit of thrift, where what you find is half the fun. The mark gave Tumbleweed a recognisable face to build the rest of the identity around.

For the shopfront, we set up an online store designed for how thrift actually works: lots of individual, one-of-a-kind pieces that come and go. The priority was a browse-friendly experience that makes single items feel desirable and keeps listing new stock simple, so the brand can sell well beyond its local footprint.

  • A characterful mark rooted in the brand’s vintage feel — see how a logo gets made
  • An online store built around the realities of e-commerce branding
  • Listings framed to suit one-off, second-hand stock

Final words

Tumbleweed Thrift came away with a logo that carries its personality and a shopfront that lets it sell its finds online.
